The full and current terms for Girt Beach Cottage holiday accommodation will be made available pre your booking and arrival. As a summary: Girt Beach Cottage is one of the oldest cottages in the village and still has many of the original beams, often ships masts and the like forming its structure. It was once three small fishermen’s cottages and as a result no two floors are on the same level! You have to watch your head as you move around and be prepared to twist and turn sometimes! Please take care as you move around the Cottage. We live in the village and Girt Beach Cottage is also a family home and store below. Please take care of her during your stay and you will be very welcome to come and stay with us again. Terms: 1. The accommodation is at Girt Beach Cottage and consists of two floors : On the first: kitchen, split level sitting room and dining room : On the second : three bedrooms, one single and two double and two bathrooms, one with shower, w.c and hand basin and the other bath, w.c and hand basin. 2. Accommodation is available from Saturday to Saturday. This can be changed by special arrangement. 3. The cottage is available on the day of arrival from 3.00 p.m unless it is ready for you earlier. We will do our best to make it available for you as soon as possible. 4. The Cottage to be vacated on your day of departure by 10.00 a.m. 5. The Cottage sleeps a maximum of 5 or 6 people. 6. We are sorry but there are no pets allowed at Girt Beach Cottage. 7. Girt Beach Cottage is a non smoking house for the assurance of all. 8. Bed linen and house towels are provided. If you are staying for more than 1 week fresh replacements will be provided each Saturday and left in the Cottage kitchen. The linen and towels you have used to be placed in a provided bin liner for us to collect when replacement is made. Beach towels are not provided. 9. Do not light the Rayburn or woodburning stoves these to be found in the kitchen and dining room areas. They have been inactivated and it would be dangerous to light them. Policies: The accommodation is provided inclusive of electricity and water charges. We would however ask guests to : 1. Try to conserve water by sensible use at the Cottage especially in the summer period at reservoirs can run very low. We would ask guest to assist us in this. 2. Electricity costs have risen significantly in the area . Please help us to maintain reasonable and inclusive charges to guests by running equipment such as dishwasher, hot water and washing machines using off peak electivity. Timers are provided and set for this purpose. The hot water is set to come on at night during the off peak period. Thank you. Damage: Damage must be paid for at replacement cost. or cost of repair to condition on arrival. Please let us know as early as possible as we can then put it right as soon as possible for you and the next guests. |
